Give your Mazda BT-50 dual-cab a serious upgrade in security and utility with the EGR Load Shield—designed and built for Aussie conditions. Crafted from high-strength aluminium extrusion with a 2.5 mm five-bar checker-plate top-panel, this tray cover is finished in UV-stable matte black powder-coat to stand up to sun, salt and dust.
Security is built in: the load-shield is equipped with a push-button centre key-lock handle and corner latching so once closed, your tailgate can’t be opened—giving you full peace of mind when your gear is on the move. Want extra storage overhead? It’s racking-ready, compatible with cross-bar kits rated up to 100 kg—ideal for roof-racks, gear-boxes or rooftop tents.
Installation is straightforward and designed to fit your BT-50’s tray without compromise—approx. 2 hours at most. Note that cabin guards or load rests must be removed for proper fitment and the Load Shield is not compatible with sports bars.

Need extra Ute capacity? Just load up your EGR Load Shield with our two racking options available. Surface-mounted Cross Bar Kit gives you a solid 100kg rating, or the EGR Side Rail and Cross Bar Kit gives you a different style and look with a lighter load rating of 50kg. Both racking systems are compatible with a wide range of rack accessories already established in the market. Fitment is fast and simple. Approx 2hrs and you have got your EGR Load Shield securing your items under lock and key.

Lift with ease
EGR LoadShield's includes gas struts for lifting, side corner latches and a push-button centre key-lock handle to make sure everything is locked securely and safely. Once Load Shield is closed and key locked, your load area is completely secure. Security tabs preventing tailgate from being opened whilst the EGR Load Shield is closed
